Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

High Line Spur ~ A color photograph of a section of Manhattan's High Line at 10th Avenue and 16th Street where railroad tracks covered in early spring flowers meet the facade of a brick building. Between 1934 and 1980 an elevated portion of the New York Central Railroad, known as the Northern Spur, brought freight trains directly into the Merchants Refrigerating Company Warehouse in Chelsea. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

yep - underneath there is a large amount of warehouse space in which I photographed a great number of very large antique reproductions during a few weeks in 26 degree weather quite a number of years ago - add me to the history - :-)
