Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas where I currently live. I can recall having a Kodak Disk camera as a kid, and carrying with me everywhere. Later in high school I took a year of black & white photography where I first used an SLR, a Pentax K1000. I really enjoyed it but didn't stick with it. Later I bought a point & shoot camera to begin take pictures, and after a few years I was inspired by a friend & professional photographer to seriously pursue my passion. I have been learning as much as I can and experimenting with different styles & subjects to try and carve out my niche. I try to take my camera everywhere so that I can take advantage of every opportunity.
